Developing countries such as Indonesia have the ambition to carry out structural transformations in order increase their economic growth. The transformation of economy from low-productivity agriculture high-productivity industrialization is seen a prerequisite for achieving sustainable growth, but there are concerns about impact on environment, especially context carbon emissions and climate change. This study aims analyze effect long-term short-term CO2 Indonesia, using Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method time series data period 1974-2016. variables used this emissions, intensity, energy Gross Domestic Product (GDP) industrial value added, where emission variable endogenous added proxy industrialization. other refer rich identity theory which describes similarity relationship between human activities environment. results indicate that significant positive intensity GDP CO 2 long term, meanwhile industry show negative term.
